Salatuk is your Muslim prayer companion. By automatically locating you; this app provides appropriate prayer times and the direction of the Qibla corresponding to your position. Salatuk's algorithm supports a large number of calculation methods adopted in the Islamic world. Depending on your location; the app chooses the appropriate method and Fiqh school. However; you also have the option to manually change this information in the 'Settings' tab if you wish. Salatuk is currently available in 3 languages: Arabic; English; and French. ***** Important Note ***** If you are familiar with Salatuk on other systems; please note that this version DOES NOT SUPPORT certain functions like Silent mode after Adhan; Full Adhan; or the use of a Custom Athan. This is due to technical limitations that we will try to remove once the iOS system allows it. ***** About Prayer Times ***** Please note that we pay great attention to the accuracy of prayer times. However; in some countries; these times may not be exact. In such cases; please refer to the official Islamic institutions in your locality and manually adjust the prayer times in the app settings. ***** About the Adhan ***** Salatuk reminds you that it is time for prayer using 4 takbeerats instead of the full Adhan. ***** Tips for Better Use ***** To refresh prayer notifications; it is recommended to open the app frequently (once a day). This should also be done when you change location or time (daylight saving time).
